One step at a time.
Remodeling your home is easier said than done. It takes a lot of time, causes a mess, is inconvenient, and can be stressful. When thinking of remodeling one should take it one step at a time; or better yet, one room at a time. A classic mistake that re modelers make is trying to do too much at one time. Although it may be nice to have your entire house do a 180 all at once, this is not always the most practical way to go about remodeling. In some cases, tearing out your entire home can leave you with no space to actually live your life. It is best to keep your remodeling to one are of your home; this way you can work on your remodel without it taking over. Whether you are introducing a few new pieces to your living room or gutting your family room; take it one room and one step at a time.

Baby, Baby, Baby.
There are 133 million births each year, 247 births every minute, and four babies born every second. With all these babies that are being born, the options for cleanable and durable fabrics are a necessity. Fabric options in the past have been either dull or predictable. Although the typical microfiber suede may work for some homes and is an inherently cleanable fabric; it is not always the look that the designer or homeowner is going for. Recently fabrics have taken a turn for the best. Now fabrics offer the look you want; with the cleanability you need; and for an affordable price. When looking for a cleanable fabric always check the content. You want to keep an eye out for anything synthetic. Synthetic fabrics are usually tight woven fabrics with less of chance of absorption or staining. Whether you are looking for a chenille or linen look alike; most fabrics with a content of polyester, rayon, or acrylic have great options.

Sofa of the week!
The Pottery
Barn Buchanan Copycat sofa is a clean transitional style; which has a traditional
roll arm with no skirt and block feet. This style is a versatile design that can be
paired with any style accent chair. Here at the Sofa Outlet we have paired the PB
Buchanan Copycat sofa with a leather club chair. In doing this we have added
some contrast in color and texture. We would also recommend pairing
the PB Buchanan Copycat sofa with a small scale English roll arm chair upholstered in a
houndstooth fabric. All three styles are now on sale! Mention this blog and save an additional 20% any off these styles.
