Wine Country- Introducing 2015 Pantone Color of the Year, Marsala

Named after the Italian city in Sicily, Marsala is described by Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman as a "color that would enrich the mind, body and soul".  Its concentrated, earthy hue is widely used in fashion, makeup and home furnishings. Marsala's tone is reminiscent of a rich full body red wine, which provokes a warm and cozy feeling in the home. We suggest applying this color on a leather chair and ottoman in the study, in a focal art piece over the sofa or as an accent wall in the dining room. However you decide to introduce Marsala, it's sure to make an opulent statement in your home.
